A fulfilling and balanced life
is within reach.
Jessica Biles, LCSW-R, RPT
I work primarily with adults and young adults, while also providing therapy to teens, children, and parents.
What I love most about being a therapist is getting to know the person behind the problem that brought them in. I’m interested in how our experiences and relationships shape the way we understand ourselves and others, and I believe people are much more than the patterns or struggles they come to therapy hoping to change.
I care deeply about the people I work with and center our work on building a strong therapeutic relationship where you can feel at ease and seen for who you really are, without fear of judgment or rejection. There is room for difficult conversations and meaningful insight, but also for warmth, humor, and moments of lightness along the way.
I’m also a parent, which has deepened my understanding of how much love, uncertainty, and responsibility can come with caring for someone else.

My clinical experience spans private practice, outpatient mental health clinics, school-based settings, and both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care. Over the years, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a range of environments, including:
outpatient mental health clinics
hospital-based outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care
a school-based health center within New York City public high schools, where I provided outpatient therapy as part of an interdisciplinary team
an elementary charter school, where I worked as the school social worker
This breadth of experience has shaped my ability to understand clients within the larger context of their relationships, schools, families, and daily lives. My participation in the Attachment Research Lab at The New School for Social Research also helped deepen my interest in attachment and relational work.
