      <image:title>Family Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>The family is the most important connection we have with one another, but sometimes we get lost along the way. Whether you are struggling with conflict between parents and children, troubled relationships, marital problems, blending two families, navigating adoption, or the impact of trauma or mental illness on the entire family, I can help. Through therapy, family members will improve their communication and resolve conflicts, leading to healthier and more secure relationships. Through parenting sessions, I will work with you to learn more about your parenting style, and develop new understanding and skills to work with your child so the decisions you make are right for your family.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Family Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>Nearly all families and couples deal with some sort of stress or conflict at one point or another. When it feels like the issues in your family are too big to handle, and aren’t getting better, family therapy can help. Together you will all learn skills to deepen family connections and get through stressful times. You will begin to understand one another better, and learn new ways to interact and overcome unhealthy patterns of relating to each other. In family therapy you will begin to listen and respond to one another's needs, heal wounds, and become closer. I am trained in Family Systems Theory and Attachment Theory. I have vast experience working with families in outpatient and school settings. Your family is the most powerful resource. Let’s strengthen it together.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Rates and Insurance - Free Preliminary Consultation</image:title>
<image:caption>Finding the right therapist can make all the difference. The most important thing to look for is someone you feel comfortable with. I offer a free initial 15-20 minute preliminary phone consultation so that we can get to know one another better. During this time you can share what’s bringing you to therapy, and you can ask me any questions you may have. If for any reason we aren’t a good fit, I will do my best to refer you to someone who can meet your needs. I look forward to meeting you.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Between long work or school hours, busy schedules, family responsibilities, and the daily demands of life, making time for therapy can feel out of reach. If you’ve been putting your needs on hold because therapy feels like one more thing you don’t have time for, you’re not alone. I offer personalized therapy that fits seamlessly into your life. All sessions are held remotely, so you can connect from the comfort and privacy of your own home or work, no commute, no added stress. Whether you're taking a break between meetings, settling in after a long day, or juggling the many roles you carry, help is available when you’re ready. I'm licensed to work with clients in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and all sessions are conducted through secure telehealth video platforms. Therapy can be both accessible and deeply meaningful, even with a busy schedule. Let’s find a time that works for you.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Whatever is troubling you, whether it’s anxiety, depression, relationships, life changes, work, self-confidence, grief, or traumas, I can help. We all, at some point in our lives, feel overwhelmed and lost. My work focuses on providing a comfortable and empathic space to help clients move through their pain and struggles, so they can live a fulfilling life every day, not just when the sun is shining. Through our work together, you will gain insights, explore patterns in your relationships, and learn effective coping strategies to create positive lasting change. I believe that clients bring their own unique set of strengths, needs, and experiences. I take special care to learn your story, your sorrows and joys, your thoughts and feelings. My role is to understand what life is like for you, and then to work together to make sense of your experiences, and learn new ways to relate and cope. My approach is guided by my compassion for people, my belief that we are resilient, and my commitment to helping others find greater health and happiness.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I meet my clients through a warm, authentic, direct, and non-judgemental lens. I draw on a range of evidence-based practices including insight oriented psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, problem solving therapy, and mindfulness. I have advanced clinical post graduate training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and I hold a certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the Creative Arts Therapies. But most of all, I will center our work in the relationship we build. I will work with you to bring a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of hope. Life can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to face the challenges alone. Carve out the time to care for yourself and experience the ways in which the supportive and safe environment of therapy can provide you with the tools needed to manage life’s challenges. I look forward to working with you.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Child Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>Children don’t usually say, “I’m having a hard time with my emotions right now, and I need help coping.” They show us they’re having uncomfortable feelings with their actions and behaviors. Whether your child is experiencing changes in his/her mood, low self-esteem, anxiety, challenges in school, friendship difficulties, loss, frequent tantrums, trauma, or they are processing family changes, I can help. I have a unique ability to empathize and join with children. Using play therapy and creative modalities, I can help children to communicate, make sense of their feelings, and begin to heal. I am a Registered Play Therapist with extensive experience working with children in mental health clinics, and as a clinical school social worker. I have a wide range of training that allows me to draw on a variety of approaches to find the best way to work with a child. I have completed intensive postgraduate clinical training in Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I have a certificate in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and one in Creative Arts Therapy with a focus on Art Therapy. Further, I am trained in Child Development, Attachment Theory, and Play Therapy.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Child Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>My vast experience providing psychosocial assessments and creating individualized education plans in schools, allows me to help explain the IEP process and interpret school reports. I take special care in speaking with outside providers, including pediatricians, schools, and psychiatrists in order to best support and maximize treatment. I also incorporate Bibliotherapy into my work, and have co-authored the book My Grief is Like the Ocean: A story for children who lost a parent to suicide. But most importantly, I can help you understand the developmental needs of your child to enable you to have a health relationship with them. You know your child best, and I see our partnership as invaluable. Things might seem difficult now, but together, we can help your child overcome whatever is standing in their way of happiness.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Adolescent Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>The demands on teenagers can be overwhelming. Whether it be peer pressure, anxiety, stress related to school, depression, perfectionism, physical changes, risk taking, self-destructive behaviors, relationship and friendship difficulties, grappling with identity, self- esteem, body dysmorphia, trauma, or loss, the developmental transition from childhood to adulthood can be tough. Through a mix of verbal and non-verbal creative expression, I can help teens to communicate their thoughts, behaviors, and feelings in a non-traditional way. I have extensive experience working with children in mental health clinics, and in a School Based Health Center (a medical/mental health outpatient clinic located inside high schools) providing adolescent therapy. I have completed intensive postgraduate clinical training in Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and I am a Registered Play Therapist. I have a certificate in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and one in Creative Arts Therapy with a focus on Art Therapy. <image:caption>I am able to connect and engage with adolescents, and help them to express their innermost thoughts, and make sense of what is happening around them. Although these years can be incredibly difficult, I can help you reconnect to your child and support them during what can only be described as the most defining time in a young person's life. All adolescents have inner resources and strengths. I can help teens uncover these strengths in order to move them towards independence, peace, and happiness.</image:caption>
